This promises to be a quite scenic 50-60(+?) mi loop around the heart of the Bradshaws with some incredible sights and the changin' of seasons. Lookin' at a fairly easy to mildly moderate ride at pace set to appeciate with plenty of photo ops.

Meet at STAGING, 9:00a
Headed into Prescott on Hwy 69 you will need to be in the left lane, Gurley St.

Stay in the left lane

Make left on Mt Vernon, (just BEFORE Jack-in-the-Box).

Mt Vernon becomes Senator Hwy as you get out of town.
Stay on Senator Hwy through the little town of Groom Creek.

Just past Groom Creek and the Sky-Y Camp the pavement will end.

Make the second right after Senator Hwy turns to dirt, Mt Trittle Rd is FR #79.

Will meet at one of the wide spots along Mt Trittle Rd.
I'm in a Dk Blue GMC, short bed and ridin a Red Rancher.

:DPack a lunch, you'll need it.[:p] I'm talkin' an all dayer![^]

Whats the weather been like and how rough is the trail?

Bunk n Teri
10/23/03, 5:24 AM
Hey Savage!

The weatha should chill out this week. Prediction is 74' high, sunny for Monday.
Mornin's have been chilly an' it's sure ta be a bit cooler on the mountain.
Definately bring a jacket.

The ride will be purty mellow on the whole. Ride for sights, not for thrills.
BUT if interest prevails we're goin' right by Trails #65 and #384, both optional.
(See Trail Guide, #65 could be interestin' on that monster you ride, tight 50")

How cool if ya could come with!

Wish I could make it. I did the 384 loop and went up and down 65 in early september. I would love to explore more of that area. Trail 65 was real tight on the 700. Maybe next time.

<s>No just meeting at Woody's.
I thought it would be easier there.

I was thinkin' to stage off of Hwy 89 S in the Indian Creek area of CR# 101, but am now rethinking that as it is a Monday and traffic will be brutal getting through town, especailly with a convoy</s>

I am now thinking it will be better to stage around Wolf Creek and ride from there.
(This ride is drummin' up more interest than I thought it would for a Monday.)

If ya like we could meet at staging instead. Let me know.[?]

Good ta see you boys got yer priorities strait! Ditchin' work ta RIDE...;)

letsgo,
No thank you. I would think a guy would have to be on it pretty hard to make it up that hill. One screw up and it is a long way down in some places. I sure would love to watch you do it though. I think it is the first left hander up the hill that would be the toughest. It is pretty tight and steep.

Wish I could make the ride, but I must educate our future leaders.

TSGreg,

This will be a LONG ride. Also here is one long downhill I would not say should be done by anyone with "Very Very Little Experiance"
No. I do not recommend her to ride herself.

Then too there is one leg I, myself, have not yet done...

quadsport!
We finally meet huh??? Cool

I believe you wrote you have done this run.
I'm lookin' at #667 to #94C (Pole Camp Rd).
#94C I have not yet run. How would you rate it? What da ya think?

Then up to Palace Station via #82A.
5 Corners, Mt Union Rd, Senator Hwy, side trip to Hassayampa Lake, Wolf Creek.

Should be a hella ride.
