Renez, here's a link to the Turkeyweek Event... It's gonna be a blast and since you'll be in Oatman that's not a far hope to visit (camp with the group).

I live in Kingman, only an hour from Havasu. I havn't ridden there yet and would jump at the chance. My wife and I have a couple of friends over there. Let me know when you want to go, most weekends are available.

For the last few weeks I have ridden my Polaris 700 around Standard wash (100+ miles). What a great area to ride. We hunt for Quail in the Juniper mine and Gold Spring areas. See you around.:D

What do you need to ride at standard wash? As far as any stickers or permits? I am new to area and have two late model dirt bikes that I will trailer to Standard wash. Went and checked it out last Sunday. is there any directions on trails or just kind of go and pay attention? Hope to go riding there this Friday and if we like Sat and Sunday too! if anybody is going and you don't mind a couple tagging along to learn the trails send me an e-mail or post when you'll be riding. Thank you!

Tammy,

I have ridden Standard Wash. GREAT place to ride! Trail, singletrack, wash and just about anything else you'd want you will find at Standard Wash. No permit needed. The land is managed by BLM.

Our Turkeyweek 2001 ride was held there. If it weren't for the fact that some guy with the mineral rights to 900 acres of it kinda screwed it up by putting a gravel proccesing plant right at the entrance to place, we'd be back there this year.

Still tons of AWESOME riding. Just very difficult to get any RV's in there anymore

Take Standard Wash east up the valley --anything on your right will take you into some nice singletrack and anything on your left will take you some nice two track into the mountains with plenty of nice wash as well.
