Hey,
Here's the scoop.....

I have run with haulers (strait) and sand sharks (v design)
The haulers are great for going strait ahead... they do not want to
turn without a bunch of motovation to do so.
The sand sharks turn great, but dont hook up too well.
Last week at Buttercup I tried my new ITP Sand Stars....
Best of both worlds. They hookup pretty good... not as good as the haulers, but much much better than the sand sharks. At times I had
to let off to keep the front end down (like the haulers tend to do)
They also look cool.

Check em out... I think you will lik em.
You can get a set from paddletireking.com (call em)
I picked up a set of 20 x 11 x 10 on ITP .190 pro series. for $214
delivered (chrome stems included)

Have fun.

P.s If you work for Phoenix... tell Paul to learn to drive.. heheheh :D (tell him Burkhardt said so)
Rob.

Sound like a good choice to me. I think I'll try them as well and replace the sandsharks I have.

Now there's a signature that gets the blood pumping! I bet there are some owners of modded DS650s that would take exception to that statment....:D. I was at Patton valley last last weekend with a couple of raptor buddies. One guy (Steve)was all hyped about his newly modded bike and was consistently beating the other one up the hill. Along comes another raptor with 686 kit, sprocket mod, & running on alchohol. I pointed out my raptor buddy (Steve who is up the hill) to this newcomer and told him, "That's the guy you want to race." Well, four races later Steve was discouraged that he couldn't compete with this new guy. His cockiness had disappeared....until the new guy dropped his white alchohol bottle on the sand part way up the hill. Needless to say Steve felt a lot better after that. It was funny. There are some pretty stealthy bikes out there...makes life interesting..[^]

It's not the bike[B)], It's the size of the WALLET[:0] on the bike.;););)

OK, I don't understand. If you're using alcohol as fuel it goes in the gas tank, not in an auxillary bottle. If you try to hide it in some kind of stealth bottle, it's pretty easy to tell when someone's using alcohol as fuel, their quad smells like an RC car. If you are using a hidden tank with alcohol, your real gas tank needs to be filled with race gas to get you back to camp without holing your piston. Are you sure he wasn't running NOS?

No, not nitrous, it was alcohol, and obvious if you looked. You could also smell it. Maybe not so stealthy after all, but Steve didn't notice until we pointed it out - when the bottle had fallen off. He HAD noticed the sprocket mod, though. After the the racing the guy with the alcohol showed us his set up.
