View Full Version : Enduro Timekeeping 101
I had this buried on the enduro announcement and wanted to make sure it got noticed.
Anyone interested in a seminare of sorts which would explain the ins and outs of keeping time in an enduro? I'm thinking of a 1 day "read and ride" where we could cover what time keeping is, how to keep time, what you need to keep time, what a JART chart is and how to use it, etc etc.
I just want to make sure that those would want to race the enduro understand what its about. There is also some very good enduro informaation available at www.arizonatrailriders.org in the Events section.
If you are interested post and we can go from there.

Hang in there. Don hasn't forgotten about this. He's been busy with the poker run. This weekend ATR has their Adopt-a-Highway cleanup and ride planned so I know Don won't be doing any enduro-type activity this weekend. Stay tuned...he hasn't forgotten about this. He's just extremely busy with many different OHV activities right now. [:p]

Hey all, Well like BigDog said this is the crazy time of year for me.
The timekeeping class will happen and more than likely it will be in January. All thats left to do is figure out which Pro enduro rider can help. An actual date should be up soon.

Ok, I finally got this class setup. I have 2 dates, both on Tuesdays starting at 6pm. To make things easier we will have a class on the East side and one on the West side.
As I mentioned this class is only open to those who have responded with interest. Any replies after this post will be handled on a first come first reply basis if there is room in a class.
I will be PMing all of you who have expressed interst with dates, locations, times, etc.... What I ask in return is that each of you RSVP back to me so I know how many are coming to each class. If you cannot attend either I need to know that also. Remember, if you are not on the class invitee list you dont get in the door. My email address will be in the PM for you to RSVP too.
FYI - Steve Hatch will be attending to give you tips on bike setup, race strategy, and training.

After my current knee injury heals it looks like the enduro might be my first race back. I hope anyway. Will you let me enter the C-class. One loop might be all I will be good for.

I went to the first class last night and it was well worth it. Now all I need is some seat time to practice all that was talked about. Good stuff and you should go if you're not planning on it.
