We just brought home our new Weekend Warrior 2007 FS2500. Bought it from Travelon in Glendale. And yes they will be doing all their own service right there. Also they were great to deal with. Cant wait to load up the cart for labor day and go!
Also not sure why WW calls it a " 2500" Cause it measures 26.5 feet from rear of body to front of body (not including tongue)

Nice rig! No probs with the 1/2 ton pulling it? I wish I could talk the bride into getting one.

Very nice. WW's are always a little longer than the model number. You will like it. :)

Congrats Randy! Looks good.

I think most RV's are actually longer than advertised. My 36 footer measures out over 38. My last one was the same way.

I was wondering the same thing, unless you've got some bolt-ons to help out the Ford? Very nice WW though, great choice.quote:Originally posted by C4 Max

Good looking rig. Does your cart fit in it or does it still go in back of the truck?

I think you will find that it weighs quite a bit more than than especially when you factor in the water, propane, generator, gas in the fuel station, etc. Just thought I would let you know.

I figure my FT2200 weighs about 8200 pounds with all of the above and one quad.

Cart fits with room to spare!

Note: Weekend Warrior was the only one that I could pull with my truck that had a door tall enough! 78" as opposed to others 74"

My cart is 76.5" tall.

I did know that... but thats why I said dry weight... mine should go about 7600 with all loaded.

I will be putting another superchips upgrade in this week.. (I had one before but had to sell it) I will also be adding a better air intake system.

Great looking trailer. Congrats.

This is the Super-Lite right? Cause I didn't see an FS2600 in the wide body section.
Specs seem within reason. Even full loaded, your max is 8k.

Once again, congrats, great looking trailer!!!

Wow very nice indeed. Not to be a negative one but weigh it don't by the sticker on any trailer. You might be suprised. AFter a tuner and air intake go with a free flowing exhaust and don't forget the tranny keep that baby cool. Again conrgats and good luck on your first trip.

It wouldnt be a good idea to get an aftermarket air filter system and keep the stock exhaust. They both have to work hand in hand to get the best results. Gibson exhaust is a nice low end torque system. But, theres many to choose from.

Just so everyone knows...
it is not my first trailer... so I know how they should pull.
It pulls just fine.
And my truck already has the trailer tow package w/ the lower rear-end gears, tranny cooler etc.

Congrats on the new trailer!!!! I'm new to this forum - Nice to see one for AZ. GlamisDunes.com has a lot of SoCal folks (not a bad thing, just nice to see one for AZ only) Back to topic, I've got an 06 WW FS2300 and t's 27.5 ft and a 23ft. box If you look at your specs, you'll notice (should be anyway) 4.5 for the tongue.

Sorry to ramble - Again nice looking!

Update!
We went up I-17 for the long weekend, across Gen Crook trail then up to FS 147 ( south of the long valley store)

It pulled just fine handled well. Went up the Bumble Bee hill at 45mph then pulled the hills on gen crook at 40mph. these are about what I expected. the Gen Crook hills would have probably been faster but there really was no place to pick up speed between hills :(
The rest of the time it was all systems go! :D

On the way home I even pulled the long Camp Verde hill on I-17 at 60mph until the very top where we got slowed down by someone and never were able to get past 45mph after that until we were over the top.

But all and all

Looks good Longhair. I have a 26' Attitude and love it. It sure is big inside compared to out 11'6' cabover camper.

That pull up Gen Cook trail is a tough one. I had a gas dually that would struggle up that one. I have a 1 ton dually Diesel now and can go up any of them at 62 without any strain.

Is your truck gas or Deisel? There is a plug in for deisel by drperformance that gives you an extra 100 hp and torque and doesn't re map the computer. Info at www.drperformance.com plus here is a cheep place to buy it at just in case http://www.autoanything.com/performance-chips/60A1874A0A0A1903252.aspx

Good Luck and have fun.

How fast did it push you down the hill [:0] :D

azquadrider, I have a f150 gaser, and I have already added the superchips supertuner. Thanks we do like it.

WildBill, It didnt push too hard.. I am an old school (over 25 years ago, over the road semi driver) and back then you start at the top in a low gear and just take it easy down the hill... on the big hills I just dropped it into 2nd and only had to use the brakes to slow down occasionally. No worries!
