New to AZ

I am new to AZ and haven’t had much of a chance to get out and read all the laws ect.

Short and sweet... How are the hunting laws in AZ?

I lived in CO for the past 5 years... While the hunting was great, the "Animal lovers" and "Tree huggers" SUCKED! There were so many rules, I think I went 1-2 times.

On the other hand, prior to CO I lived in MT. Hunters paradise!!! If you are a hunter and want to move... Move there! During the 6.5 years I was there, I next to never bought beef, and the bird hunting was great! I had a Brittany and loved to watch her work pheasant!

Welcome Jason,
The laws like everwhere else are no better, drawing for just about everything.I came from Oregon where hunting is a lot better than here,this is why i am hunting in Colorado this year.

Not many pheasants here, but lots of quail and dove. You are going to find that we have more hunters than permits. Check out the Arizona Game and Fish web site. It will give you some information for what you are looking for.

It is hard to draw an elk, antelope, sheep and bison tag here. Deer is pretty easy though.
