I've had my Rhino for a month and a half and love it. Initially I got it for my wife for the dunes but have found this baby goes anywhere. I am having a ball going on trails. What have you done to yours and what's the outcome if it was performance related?

Here is what I have added and what the outcome is:

- Taller Tires and Wider Wheels (ITP 7 Series C's) and ITP Terra Cross R/T 26-11-14 rear, 26-9-14 front. Seems to feel better due to it being wider.

-Black Rhino CDI Box - I live in Prescott area at a mile up. Initially it did 41-42mph before the rev-limited kicked in. It now does 51-52mph.

- K&N Air Filter and Pre Filter - Seems to breath better and seems to have a little more torque. Haven't opened the box or rejetted yet.

- Made it steet legal - Put on a horn, rear light for license, rear view mirror - see photos (the last photo is the button for the horn below the 4x4 switch)

- Billet Light Switch, Billet Shifter, Billet Sterring Wheel, Billet Sterring Wheel Adapter and Billet Sterring Column

- Tool Box - great for carrying tools, clothes, etc. Even has a lock.

http://www.ridingarizona.com/forum/uploaded/ahsumtoy/200610219039_IMG_4107x.JPG

- Security Box - I now have 2 cup holders and somewhere to lock things up (like your registration)

- DynaJet Kit - will be used once I get my aftermarket exhaust.

- Ordered a Big Gun Exhaust - Once I get it and open the air cleaner box, rejet, I will tell you my results. I'm hoping it will give me a little more torque in the low & midrange.

- Ramp for Truck - Don't get a 48" one, you'll fall off the ramp. I ordered one that goes from 48" to 60" in 2" increments from atvramps.com

- Louisiana Guard Dog - check out the pictures and you'll see what this is. No more tie downs, the Rhino doesn't move, and it prevents theft

- Buggy Whip with LED Light - The clamp has a pin so you can just fold it down when loading into your hauler.

- Rear Receiver with 2" ball

- CVT Cooling Intake Filter (goes behind drivers seat - a must have)

- Etc - Tools, tire kits, slime, etc.

Plans for the future:

- Windshield
- Beard Seats
- 4-5 point harness (don't like the current seat belts)
- Leg Guards
- More Lights (the original lights aren't worth a hoot)
- Rear Bumper
- Winch
- Roof (I have to get one fabricated due to having the whip and the mirror). A friend used diamond plate and it looked awesum.

So far we have added a soft top and half windshield. I have the seat for the rear seat waiting on the cage. So far that is it having to much fun driving it to stop and work on it.

NEVERENOUGH, How do you like that half windshield?

Looks nice, how do you like those tire????

Technically, to be 'street legal' you need a windshield and a wiper......:(

We need to get the law changed to only require eye protection if you don't have a windshield....But until that happens, just be aware that it is the law...

That's a interesting way to secure the ATV in the truck. The only concern I would have is the amount of weight being put on the two tailgate cables. If you could adjust it to have the ATV a little further in the bed of the truck I think it would be outstanding.
Pretty creative idea !
It is amazing the things you can come up with to go off the 2 inch received hitch;)

AhsumToy - you sure got that Rhino tricked out ! ;) Looks great.[8D]

I've added the same tires and wheels plus J-strong doors, back bumper, 2inch hitch, roof, fender ex.,Beard seats, 4 pt belts, mirrors, and a horn.
With the bigger tires, hitch, and bumper the bed won't dump as far, goes alittle farther without hitch but bumper hits the tires.
Not a problem though.

I like the half windshield so far. My cousin has a full one and has to take it off in the summer because his will vapor lock. We have not been on a lot of rides with other people so I can't comment about dust. Running down the road a 40 it is windy and hard to talk but on the trail it works fine.

Many don't really care for the 1/2 windshield.. better off without it.

Hey this issue of Sand Sport magazine has a nice article on running extened front and rear A-arms along with upgraded CVs and axles.

I love the ITP Terra tires. They really grip and climb well. I did some major rock crawling and they performed perfectly. The only thing I have heard about the tires is that they wear a little quicker than normal. Hey Casey (neverenough), we have to get together some time and do some trail riding. I get pretty dusty without a windshield. My friend put a complete window (glass) in his Ranger. It looks great and keeps the dust down. My only complaint is that it is glass and I would be a little concerned about rocks coming up and breaking the glass (you can't insure the glass windshield) on an ATV, plus it costs over $700. He said you can get them for Rhinos as well. I'm still debating on whether to put a half or full windshield in mine.

rangers dont have the dust issue that the rhinos do they dont have the opening behind the seat for the dust to come up

My buddy has a ranger with a full windshield and it is just as dusty as my rhino. Larry give me a call and we will hook up for a ride. We have an elk hunt starting the 20th but other than that lets go for a ride. By the way your rhino looks very very nice would expect nothing less from you. By the way when is your first dune trip?

Dunetrip, I got the mirror at Metro Motorsports in Glendale. Neverenough, I'll give you a call soon. My first trip to the dunes is Oct. 11-15 - going to Dumont and then on Oct 21st a group of about 50 are going to Gordons Well but I think you'll be hunting then.

So is the issue with dust on the windshield on the inside?

PM sent..;)

both dust sticks to the windshield and makes it hard to see and creats a vacume behind the seats so you get dust in the cab
