View Full Version : Sycamore Creek Riding???
I rode at Rolls a couple of weeks ago and had a good time. Now I want to try Sycamore Creek, where is the entrance to it? Is it better than rolls? Is there any other areas close to these?

It's on the west side of HWY 87, across from the Rolls OHV area, I can't remember if the entrance is north or south of Bush hwy intersection, it's pretty easy to see the trails near the road if your driving south on HWY 87. I do know that it's south of the four peaks rd turn along the west side of HWY87. Rich

If heading north on 87, the entrance is just past where the divided highway goes into two lanes.

Watch out for garbage..people have really trashed the place. I was out there on Thursday and there was garbage everywhere, all the way down the main road to the wash and beyond! sad
We went out there Sunday and there was trash everywhere. We also saw alot of people shooting rifles, so we went to the Rolls area instead. We had a good time there.

There are two GPS trails for Sycamore Creek in the Trail Guide. One is for lower Sycamore Creek and stages at the main road down to the big wash. There are good directions to the staging area in the Trail Guide. I followed the lower Sycamore Creek GPS trail and enjoyed it very much. The other trail is for upper Sycamore Creek, and it actually stages at the Rolls parking lot. I hope to do this upper Sycamore Creek GPS trail soon. I guess the trash is getting worse again at lower Sycamore. I was out there last month, and it was noticeable but not terrible.
I had a great evening/night ride out at the Rolls on Sunday, 11/9. Watched the moon rise over Four Peaks. Cool!
