Hi,

Just moved out here and new to ATVing. I'm looking for recommendations on guided ATV tours and rentals. Any recommendations for the phoenix sedona or flagstaff area?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

I rent Polaris ATV's, currently 2003 TrailBoss, 330cc 4 cycle.
They have excellent suspension and are great trail bikes.
$90.00 per day plus deposit, trailer is included with two or more.
We are located in north west phx.

I was in Sedona last weekend, and found there's a place that rents ATV's including helmets, goggles and such...they had Auto Kodiaks for about $119/day...I would assume there's a designated trail just for that ride....you can also rent Jeeps solo or on tour..

Yes, there is a guy that does ATV tours in Sedona. I have actually been on one and he is a pretty cool guy. He also runs tours down in the Tucson area as well. The tours are about 3 ½ - 4 hours and I believe in the winter run around $102.00.

He is running 4x4 Kodak 400 auto’s and his name is Charlie. The company name is Chandelle ski & travel. Ph: 1-800-242-6335

HI All,
My family will be visiting the the Sun City area A week from this Sat. We have never been riding out there and wish to try it. Looking for someplace that rents and suggestions for a days worth of riding. Would like a ride that would be considered for beginers to intermediate with slow to moderate senic speeds. All males ages 70, 46, 15 and 12. Also I do not have a hitch to tow a trailer, any suggestions out there would be appreciated. Perhaps somone would even be willing to guide? Thank You

Ask what the driving age is where you rent, many are 18. I just ran into this trying to rent with a 14 and 16 year old. Your also gonna have a hell of a time towing a trailer with no hitch...don't know of any trail side rental. You may be able to rent a pick-up truck on the cheap.

I'm sure you'll find people here willing to take you out on a ride, but you'll need to figure out a way to get the quads to and from where ever you rent them.

Rental companies Don't rent trucks with hitches,, I tried it and so did norminaz. I pickup would work, but be VERY careful putting it up into the bed. There's a story here, where someone looked at a quad, then offered to put it into the bed of a truck, and it didn't make it, and they not only probably did damage to the quad, but the new buyer,, didn't want it anymore.
There is a rental shop in Munds Parks, just off the exit, next to the post office and you could ride, sight-see the Munds Park area. You have to be 21 or older to rent there.
Another idea I have thought about, is if I were going to do an over night somewhere, renting one of those small moving trucks from u-haul.. and that way I could lock it up at night. They are also lower than a regular pick up truck,, I believe, so loading would be easier. I don't remember the cost, of renting them though. I have rented trailers from A to Z rental, in the beginning when I didn't yet own a trailer.
