I bet that scared the crap out him/her
Not sure if that's real or not.
They tried "and failed" to replicate something similar on Mythbusters. It was the looneytunes version of using a Finger to plug the barrel. It obviously failed.
Mythbusters first tries to prove or disprove the myth and then they try anything to equal the end result of the myth.
They NEVER got anything close to a barrel explode like a banana peel. Maybe they need to revisit this and use what was used here.
Cause if that's real, the person shooting is an idiot to not see an anodized shiny pink thing sticking out the end of his black barrel.[B)]

When it comes to honest to goodness fact, that show, as cool as it is, leaves alot to be desired. Also saw the one where they "disproved" the ability to split arrows. But anyone that shoots knows most indoor ranges have walls covered with "knocked/split" arrows. There are several other instances of the show just being way off base.
The show is what it is, entertainment with a little science thrown in.

I completely agree with ya, "entertainment with a little science thrown in."
And YES, ALOT to be desired. I find myself saying, Aww come on,<---Nice words inserted, more than once an episode, when I do see it.
Well I sent a cleaning rod about 70 yards down range…
Everyone stopped shooting and looked in disbelief as it flew down range.
Then the people on ether side of me moved a few shooting benches over…

Um, oops! As far as a whole myth busters thing... Every barrel is going to have different impurities from the next, causing it to do different things. Just as every cartridge is going to be different, along with hte bullet itself. There are just too many variables.
