Hey guy's - Just a thought. I am thinking of heading out this w/e for the maiden "away from home" trip in the Prowler.

Question : Is the soft top [A/C accessary] Ok to leave on to travel with the prowler on an open trailer at 75 mph ?

Next question : For any of you that have the A/C rear bumper. Is it worth the money instead of making your own ? I was thinking of building my own with my own design but started looking at all the design that it will require with the 45 degree trailgate [still not sure I understand why it drops to 45 deg - dog likes it that way]
and the angle of dangle with the bed tilted ...
Need to have it all planned just right so there is no problem with interference.

Is the $159 money well spent on the factory rear bumper ?

Thanks -;)

I sure LOVE my Prowler !!! ~[8D]:D[:p]
Wife loves it & dog loves it too !
Cannot wait to get it out on a real trip !

Do not run with top on it will not make it. You will spend almost as much or more if you build it.

i lost my glove compartment lid doing 75 on the freeway, so you might want to remove it first, also if you have a soft top you need to remove it

Confirm -- remove the top for traveling. Not sure on the bumper.

Thanks guy's. That is what I figured... Just thought I would ask all the experts that have already towed thier Prowlers.

I do have one more question : My '07 has the cables that allow the tailgate to drop to 45 deg angle. I read on one site of Prowler parts that the '07 has the cable to not allow the gate to drop as low as the previous models. What's the story on the tailgate hitting the assy. A/C bumper ?

Thx,

Do it BEFORE THEN !!!! I love HP quads & bikes. I ride a 185 mph street ride everyday. I ride UZF450 or KFX400 at the dunes Or a Traicked CR250... But, this Prowler is a kick [ or lick ] in the pants to buzz around in ! [8D][:p]

DO IT ! [:0] THEY ARE A BLAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even for old fat guy's OR Skinny Dogs.............OR thin wifes....YEP, she loves it to:D[8D]

Best 10K i've spent in a few months. Well...that's after the wifes GT.;)And after the hauler & after the YFZ.... Been a busy [$$$$$$} year.[xx(]
Now it's new truck time.:(

Well, I don't have $$$$$$$$$$ so it's 1 toy at a time :(
So it's a major decision, not just a "I think i'll pick 1 up"

Maybe someday.........:D
