We rented a cabin in Ruidoso, NM for the Thanksgiving holiday. There were Deer all over the subdivision. Mostly does and small bucks. I did see one good size 2 pointer. Saturday morning this small buck was in our front yard and even waited for me to get the camera out of the truck. He was about 12 feet from me.

Deer season must be over that is why they are out. :D

Did you hit Inn Of The Mountain Gods? I used to live in Alamogordo and hit Ruidoso all the time. Great place.
