We took the new toy (Rhino 660 SE) to the dunes and I was completely amazed at how capable it was. We duned it on just about everything with no problems at all. In 4WD it would pull up anything practically from a standing start. Now the suspension does limit how fast you can take bumps, but the engine was pretty impressive.

Really fun to dune, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Congrats. I love mine out there too. I put 205 miles on it this weekend at Glamis and had a blast. My brother-in-law from Florida went with us and he was really impressed when I duned up the back side of China Wall and then took him down the steepest part of the hill. I gassed it going down hill and then hit the brakes right before the whoops. Thought he might wet the seat. :D

was this with stock tires or paddles??

Stock tires on 12x7 beadlock Douglas Rokstars air'ed down to 3 PSI. I started at 10, then 7, then 5, then 3. 3 was perfect. The rears look kinda flat, but that's the idea. The fronts take pretty good hits entering and exiting some bowls so I didn't want to go softer.

The rear tires spun, but always made forward progress. In 4-wheel-drive it motor'ed up anything.
