...it's still a week before Halloween and you see Christmas decorations up? Well, I waited until Halloween was over, and I am overlooking T-Day because that one is a foregone conclusion. Heck, I am even going to skip Christmas too. No, instead, I am posting that we intend to spend the New Year in the dunes, and was wondering if there were others that were thinking the same thing?
We have never camped anywhere but Gecko in Glamis, but this might be the trip to try out another location (i.e. Buttercup, GW, midway, etc.). Therefore, I am up for suggestions on where the best time can be had for all. Thanks in advance! [^]

Ogilby huh.....I know nothing about the place, but as long as I can ride to some steep hills and some deep bowls, it sounds good to me.
I wonder if you will be able to spot us in our new toy hauler? ;):D

Well wifey, Anyone good enough to buy our old trailer, Is certianly good enough to camp with. Shanman you are alway welcome to join us for x-mass-to-newyears. It'l be a good time to show you some of the finer features of your new rig (my old rig).:D:D
SDRaptor and Hillclimber will also be joining us at Camp Ogilby. And I bet if we talk about it long enough a few more folks will join in. Like maybe Nate and Erica, Kim and Wanye Huggs, The moose and GNJ would love to camp there.[8D][8D]

ShanMan...congrats on the new toy hauler. I wish you and your wife the best of fun in the Wanderer Wagon!! It really served us well...we just outgrew it! Ogilby is tons of fun!! It is near a lot of small dunes and is also just about 5-10 minutes from some really kick-a$$ dunes on the way to Patton Hill. SD Raptor took me "bowling" last xmas and I saw the biggest bowls I'd ever seen...took me some real guts and a bit of coaxing from Steve to get me to go thru them. But, I did it and didn't even soil myself:D;)(came real close tho[:0]) Join us and we'll show ya a great time!! Have a blast with the new Hauler!!! Bye:)

well thanks to the both of you for a fair deal on the hauler...and the kind invite! We have lots of time to plan, and to recruit...so lets hope it all works out well. Now then....what to do about insurance on that puppy......??

Allstate let us add it to our auto policy...so check with your auto carrier to see if they'll cover it.

My brothers and I are heading to Glamis on X-mas Saturday & Sunday. We'll be in a Black 6" lift quad cab Chevy Duramax with the logos SS on the sides towing a 16x6 trailer. Possibly a RED Jeep to tag a long. We are fearless and ready to ROCk when ever you are.
