I have just moved from Ohio to Arizona. I live in Lake Havasu City. I would love to try Standard Wash and also maybe Bison wash. I have an 03 YF250F and an 01 CR125R. Do I need to get some sort of permit to ride? I would trailer both bikes to ride. I've read a lot of posts that say you need a permit? I've also been told just go ride? I don't want a huge fine. In Ohio it's $5.00 to get a sticker to ride in State Parks. If someone could fill me in I'd appreciate it. Also, can you get a map of the trails? Thank you!

Also get an Arizona Atlas and Gazetteer (most any large bookstore).
It'll give ya purty good idea o' the lay o' the land.
If'n ya got questions post 'em on RA. ;)

Hey Havasu, I am up the road in Kingman, and ride all around Mohave county. My wife is from Ohio, around Wilmington just north of Cincinati. You can get an RV plate from the MVD, and you are legal to ride on state and federal land. The RV plate is a one time fee of about $15.
South of town there is a large area to ride with lots of trails and mountains. I might have to head down there soon, it is getting colder up here.
22 years or riding in AZ.
Let me know if you're heading down. My boyfriend and I both ride. we have dirt bike but don't mind riding with anyone or anything. We can usually only ride on weekends.
