Where can I find this quick fuel system, and how much can I expect to pay for it. Im getting a IMS tank so, Should I get a quick fuel IMS cap or does the fast cap system supply a quick fuel cap? Does the fast cap also supply the probe that attatches to the standard gas can?

It's been a while since I have purchased this system, but here it goes. If you want a drybreak system on your IMS tank you need to specify that when you order your tank and it will cost extra. The quick fill can and probe needs to also be ordered which needs to be ordered separately as well. They may work out a discount with you if you order it all at once though. www.imsproducts.com may help you understand what I am referring to. Good Luck!

Will,
The whole enchilada from IMS will run you about $750.00 total, quick fuel dump can with probe and all. Seems a little steep for a 9xx racer to worry about a few seconds a lap for a pit. your money would be better spent somewhere else. It is pretty easy to make up 8-10 seconds on a 32 mile lap by doing something other than a $750 pitting system.
Charge harder into and out of 10 turns and you have saved yourself $750.00

"Wait......did you guys hear that? Was that the UPS guy??........
I run an awesome quick fill system (The Fast Cap) built by John Strong in Tempe. It fits in an existing desert tank, and has a probe that screws right into your regular 5-gallon jug. It's super fast and about the third of the cost of the IMS unit. I have timed it against the IMS system and mine was about a second slower. Big deal.
I'll get a phone number if you are interested.

I haven't talked to John in a few months.

$298.00 he has them in stock and he says they work beautifully with the Clarke tanks. I'm thinking of getting one next week, but will probably wait until after Snowflake to see where my slow a$$ ends up.

"Mmmmm, tastes like chicken..."
Don't wait. His system is so fast and easy you would be crazy not to get it right away.
The thing I like the most about it is when you're not racing you just take the cap out and put your stock cap back on. You don't have to screw around with the quick fill when you want to trail ride or ride MX.
