Turkey week Pictures are posted in the Photos section, be sure to check those out....

We had a sad ride home, as we were just getting into Quartsite we saw a horrible accident...car going eastbound swerving right in front of us..crossing the median....and Slamming head on into a van going westbound.. we saw the whole thing; and had to wait for the Officer to do a witnesss statement... it was very scary and sad... as it was a fatal collision.

Hope everyone made it home safe and Uneventful!

Wow! What a great event! Thanks to all who came out for the good time. The Friday night party was incredible! A very descriptive recap story will be coming soon. I have tons of work to do with cleaning and unloading stuff-and I am sure everyone else who came does as well. In the meantime, here are couple of overhead shots taken by Arlan on Saturday morning--enjoy!

Kim, that sucks, an awful end to a great weekend. Everybody that helped put this together, a truly awsome job. My hat is off to you. We had a great time. Bunk and Teri, thanks for letting me tag along, you guys are great guides. No bodily injuries as far as I know, from any wrecks. We had one person in our Saturday ride get a flat;), but other than that it was smooth riding.

Thank you to everyone who made our first Turkeyweek so special. It was wonderful to see our old friends and meet some new.

Greg, Steve, Shannon....beautiful job organizing this event. No camp violations for you!!![:p]

Arlan...great pics. BUT, you get a camp violation for waking us all up Saturday morning doing your fly-by. [B)][:0] Glenn got some great shots of you flying. We'll post tomorrow.

Again, thank you all.

Looks and sounds like a really cool weekend for everyone. Glad to hear all enjoyed and made it home safe. I had a pretty good weekend myself as I brought home 30 rainbow trout and cooked 'em up Sunday night[^].

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day, drinking.

Hey y'all,

Checkin in from Colorado. Got home safe and sound. :D Want to thank everyone who made us outofstaters feel welcome at camp and special thanks to Greg and Shannon for organizin the whole thing. Also, thanks to Arlan for all the navigational information and GPS waypoints for various rides. ;)

Arlan, I've added the hill climb to the Airway Beacon to my all time "to-do" list, right up there with "Ride from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina". I wanted to make this hill climb REALLY bad on Friday afternoon (actually got up a couple of the switchbacks before deciding that doing it solo was a bad idea), but my senses said enough was enough for the day and the following morning had me itchin to get homeward bound.

If any'all get the urge to come up to Colorado after the snow melts in the spring, give us a shout. We'd love to hook up, and have EXCELLENT quad and/or single trak riding within a mile or two of our house.

Cheers,
Will and Jen

I had a great time and got in plenty of riding. Good food and good friends. Didn’t break anything on me or the bike so it was good trip.

Hey Pasta came back any time and we will give the air way beacon climb a try. I can fall down lot and you can ride both our bikes to the top. [:I]:D
