Hey has anyone cut down there roll cage or had a new one built? So that it will fit in your toy box under the bed?
The reason for this ? is for a friend of mine he wants to buy a Prowler but his bed is 2 1/2" shorter then the Prowler roll cage.
Any helpful info on this or knows of a place to custom make one would be apricated.

Or he can let air out of his tires to lower the height.
:D

Try to let out the air like sandrider stated.
Also, I have heard of people using ratchet style tie-downs to compress the suspension to get it in their haulers.

Might be a pain, but cheaper then getting the cage cut down. :)

It can obviously be done. My son-in-law had to have his Ranger roll cage cut made removable because of that same thing.

I let down the air in mine and it fits right in with 1-2 inches to spare. Not sure if he has done it, but he may want to test fit one prior to looking at all the other ideas. I was almost positive that mine would not fit before I tried it out.

Has he tried it yet? The tape said my Rhino would not fit but when I tried it, it fit with about 1" to spare.

He hasn't bought one yet. He's want to find a place to cut it down or make a new one by the time he buys it. I thought someone here on RA cut there factory roll cage down. I guess I was mistaken. I'm trying to tell him just to cut the back part only that should clear the bed but, not my biz.

The back one is definitely the key to it fitting or not. The front clears no problem.

If the bed is like the one in my hauler the bed is moveable, remove the pins that hold the bed down and add in Rubber spacers to gain the extra space...or just let air out, or load it with 2 people in it...

My prowler fits in our toyhauler with no mods. I have about 3" to spare. I took a tape measure with me when we went shopping and found that most did not have enough room under the bunks.

Try American Sand Toys. They do some pretty cool cages.

My buddy has a couple more cages for sale that look like mine below. They are shorter than stock and very well built. I get compliments all the time. Mine fit in my GearBox just fine. The GearBox just would fit all the rest of crap in there too!!
