Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a rifle at the Arizona Elk Sociey Banquet. I was wanting a small caliber rifle and low and behold that is what I won. It is a CZ 527 American bolt action in the .204 Ruger caliber. I am really looking forward to shooting it. I have since found out that it is a tack driving caliber. I have seen a lot of sub 1in. groups with this round on the web. I have picked up some 40 grain shells that shoot around 3900 ft./sec. :D

Looks nice. What is the Arizona Elk Society, and what do they do as a society?

The AES is an organization similar to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation which raise money for elk management and other wildlife projects soley for the state of Arizona. They have a banquet every year and this year raised over $300,000.

Cool, My brother in law is a game warden for Arizona. I am sure he appreciates your societies roles in helping with the elk wildlife management.

That is supposed to be one fine PD/Yote caliber right there. Congrats on that!!!
