Wifey and I are heading out to Ogilby Over the X-mass Holiday returning New Years Eve day. We are expecting to be joined by SDraptor and Hillclimber, as well as Nate and Erica, Rapp660 and Shanman with his wife:D.
If your going to be out there please stop by say hello we anticipate being camped right around the radio tower[:p].Probably a litlle north of the tower.[:0][:0]
My sister and her husband will be flying in from Boston to hang out in the dunes with us[:0]. We will be ariving x-mass day around 4:00 pm

We (about 30 of us) are going to be there about the same time, but we are going to camp in the flats west of Ogilby Road just north of the freeway. I will try to make a visit and introduce myself.

Not sure what everyone else's schedule will be, but we will be coming out the morning of the 30th or 31st and staying until Sunday the 3rd. I hope everyone is planning to hang around long enough so that we cna ring in the New Year together.
Hey Jack, any chance you can rope off a spot for us so we can park all close-like? :D

Okay, it's getting harder by the day to focus... 9days, 9 days, hold on Steve only 9 days to go.[:p][:p][:p]
The family and I will roll in around 2:00 or 3:00pm on Friday the 26th unless I can get everything loaded ahead of time. Christmas is seriously gettin' in the way of ridin' time. I guess for the kids sake we will go ahead and celebrate it, but I want it on record that Christmas is one of the few things that is allowed to delay ridin'.;)
Jack, let me know what you find out about the wood so I know whether to bring wood or money.:D
Nate, I'll throw those tires in the truck so you can check 'em out.

Just got the trailer back today after having the proper wheel wells installed on it.....man those tires were tearing the wells apart....but Weekend Warrior covered the whole repair...so all good.Steve shoot me a pm on the tire size and price.Is it time to go yet....yeah and The holiday is getting in the way my vacation starts this Friday and im off for two weeks.WOOOOOHOOOOO

I'll be going down the 26th or 27th, depends on when I get loaded, and staying through the 4th or 5th, again it depends on when I get loaded.
I hope to see some of you guys there and go riding.

We'll be down there too from the 29th through the 1st. We usually camp just south of the tower. We have a gold Tacoma pulling a tent trailer and a silver Silverado pulling a flatbed quad trailer. We've got a couple of yellow 400EXs, a white Z-400, and a red 250EX. We'll also have a yellow DS650, another white Z, and a yellow 250EX in camp. Stop by and say hello if you happen to see us.
jwalk...what are the distinguishing "characteristics" of your camp...so we can stop by and meet you guys. I now can find sandrider and Stuart camp just from the trucks, trailers, and quads in camp...plus I know ABOUT where they will always be.

SOUNDS LIKE FUN! I'm leaving tomorrow the 19th for Midway till monday and hope to leave for Ogilby a day or two after Christmas and will be there till the 1st. I'm looking forward to some great riding with Sandrider, Ksand, and would like to ride with jwalk1 and Nate again!!!

KSand our camp will have a 26'Weekend Warrior a 30'GearBox and a 32'Blazin Toyhaulers and look for my White crewcab GMC pulling the warrior it will have the RA sticker on the back window.Stuart we look fwd to riding with you again been along time.

Our crew should start coming in Saturday morning the 27th. Heck, I might even come in Friday night. We are the big group that always camps just past and to the south of the tower, mostly motorhomes, I will hook up with Ksand and we will come try to meet all you guys.

I got sick this weekend and couldn't get my stuff done, so I'll do it next weekend an come down on Sun, the 28th. I don't think I'll be camped where I did T-day as it appeared to be right along the route of travel between other camps and the trail to Patton.
I hope to see you down there. You can't miss my rig, with "ASA" on the trailer. :)

Luckily, the wind was blowing the other way.:) The dust a Olgiby was much, much less then I'm used to at Gordon's, so I would not have notice anyway. ;)

Well, I just picked my quad up last night and am working on some additional minor stuff to get ready for the trip:):D[8D][:p]. Gettin' hard to sleep now with only three days to go. Got a set of the Sand Stars and am looking forward to seein' how well they work. Almost bought the Extreme Haulers but didn't want to give up any of the ability to dune, the hills fun but dunin' is where it's at for me[}:)].
Jack, what did you find out about the wood?
Nate, I keep forgetting to check the size of those tires, I will check them and PM ya tonight.

Steve...Jack will get the wood tomorrow. I just called to make sure they're open and they are. I think he should get at least a quarter cord...what do ya think??

Wifey, a quarter sounds good, don't want to be left out in the cold. Besides, one of the best things about camping is sittin' around the fire with good friends:D.
I still have a bunch of little stuff to do to the bike before Friday. Guess I'll be spending some time in the garage tonight.
