Our 05 Polaris Ranger 700XP has been having a uniqe problem. Can't seem to figure it out. The Ranger will start and run for about 30 seconds and then just die. Have already checked the little things - battery, fuel and air filters, spark plugs, etc. Got it running right after cleaning it up, but then it went right back to dying again. It turns over fine. Any one have any ideas on what it could be? Don't want to take it in for a minor prob that could be fixed at home on the cheap. Did I mention it is fuel injected and has a CDI box?

I checked out PRCForum, but didn't see anything similar to this issue. Found out more here than there. Hoping that there might be someone out there who has had the same situation.

Could be that the Polaris emblem is too close to vital engine components. Might want to try another brand...........:D

Got it working - don't know what it was that did the trick, but whatever it was it worked. Thanks Demarko69 - you were a great help.
