Arctic Cat just introduced the new Prowler at the dealer show. 700 EFI listing for $10999.00.
Plus the new Thundercat 1000 4X4 ATV (950cc) is out too. [:p]

I didn't see EFI on the spec sheet but just the 700 V2 is a big plus. The tilt wheel is cool also.

It's the Prowler XTX 700H1 EFI. Comes only in grayish silver. Has tilt wheel and improved steering. Hemi engine. Rearview mirror standard. Turf saver rear diff that unlocks when turning tight to allow for better turns. The machines will hit the dealer floors around October.

I didn't see EFI either but thanks for the update. I would love the tilt wheel. Thanks.

Just checked out their website. The Thundercat is 52" wide, stock. Wont that keep them off some trails (like Paiute)?

What no interest in a true four seater?.

I'm already buttering up the wife if they decide to produce it.

That 4 seater definately needs the 950. And some long travel. And a stereo. And some HID's. And...And....And...I don't know how it would do in the dunes with that long wheel base. I wonder about high centering it at times. I guess enough power would help get you through most situations. I like the green one. With my long travel kit on it to match!!

I think they need to put that ThunderCat engine in the Prowler.

As long as your budget is $5800 it will be perfect for you!!:D:D Worth every penny though. The stock suspensions in these UTV's just aren't made to do what I do with them. I was tired of breaking stuff and ruining trips. No problems with that any more!! If that 950 comes out in the Prowler, I will have a nice one for sale!

What do you do to that thing to break it? I will admit the skid plates on the Rhino have lived up to thier name, but I haven't broken anything yet.

I have bent a few tie-rods and cracked the lower a-arm mount once. Stock, they aren't made for jumping and running full throttle continuously in the dunes. I'm sure if you just trail ride or hunt they work well for what they were intended to do. They were not made, however, to do full speed through the whoops and run up a 1/2 mile steep sandy hill!!!

That is the wheel base,... not overall width,...which is 47.5 inches
