Bulldog Canyon in Apache Junction???

Hello everyone, I went and got a permit for Bulldog Canyon. Now I know how to get to FR 10 here in Apache Junction. Once I get to the gate, is there a staging area where i can park? Or do I just stage before the gate..it seems pretty small if everyone parked there. [?]

How did you obtain the permit and is it still free? The number I have to call for a permit never gets answered:(.480-610-3300.

I went a got mine today...

The Ranger station is right @ Higley and McKellips - one block south of McKellips Road.

You have to go to the station to get it (u can't do it on the phone).

You fill out a form and it has to gate combinations for the next 6 months.

Looking at the map above, I have always ridden on FR10 from the south side, and stage inside the gate about 1/2 mile up. there are quite a few large staging areas in there..

I got my permit from the Rangers office on Center and Main in Mesa..
