View Full Version : Standard Wash
The T-Bird and I went to Standard Wash yesterday and had a really good time. Of course, there were the usual maniacs by the Hwy racing around raising dust and showing off for those who might catch a glance as they drove by. Once you go east on the trails you get treated to some fun twisties and elevation changes. Since this area covers 7500 acres, you shouldn't get bored. We only came across 2 other riders in 3 hours. Plenty of variety to satisfy everyone from beginners to the hard core. If you haven't been there, it's worth the drive. Located 5 miles south of Lake Havasu off of HWY 95 on the east side of the Hwy.
Dress for the crash not for the ride.
Sounds good. Looking to go that way this spring. Question for ya, are these quad trails or jeep trails? Reason being I have a trail buggy looking for good trails, not to outrageous? Thanks Tim C

Thanks for the post T-Bone. We rode this area a couple years back and had a blast. GrnsGuy...here are some photos of the area for your review. It will give you a good look at the type of trails: http://ridingarizona.com/forum/uploaded/tw/TWPage1.htm

See ya always make camp in a circular pattern , never know when the attack may come LOL .Looks like a really great place to ride , and its on my list now too .
We love to circle when we camp. I guess the biggest reason is to allow for a quick trip to the nightly campfire for everyone. :) That and to keep the kids in camp.
