Route #6 and #7 East are depicted crossing into Death Valley National Park. Explain how this is possible please? Thanks Brad

Although the intention was for a system that would be open to full width OHVs, that was not possible without a lot of route construction. The State system prescribed "Temporary" sections that required street legal (may have been temporary for ever) and "Alternate" sections which could be for 40" or 24" vehicles. My system is for Dual Sport motorcycles with alternates for the big GS typs bikes (and ATVs). Death Valley has some of the best sections.
