Place to take some beginners ?

Any suggestions on a good place in the North East valley to take some beginners.
Somewhere flat, easy, and really open, where they can ride and still remain within eyesight of the truck.

take them to the rio verde area. Pima road north to dynamite east on dynamite to the dead end ( down the long hill approx 8 miles) Left to the pay gate for the park. Go straight onto the gravel follow about 1 mile a small drop into a nice wash or contiue to a larger wash. Is easy riding nice and soft.

Out towards Lake Pleasant, by the Wildhorse West Eatery (across the road from the soaring airport).
I-17 N to Carefree hwy, head west about 5 miles to where 99th ave. intersects ("Soar plane rides" sign). Turn left (south), about 1/4 mile on the left is the staging area behind Wildhorse West. Nice big staging area and some nice easy trails.
