Annual Table Mesa Cleanup

The annual Table Mesa exit to Agua Fria River cleanup will be held on Saturday, January 31st, starting at 9 AM. The meeting place will be on the west side of I-17, beyond the end of the pavement.

Volunteers are asked to bring drinks, gloves and friends. Shovels, rakes, and sunblock optional.

This year's cleanup will be organized by the Arizona Virtual Jeep Club in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management (providing three dumpsters), the Arizona State Land Department (providing a dumpster and trash bags), and the Lake Pleasant Regional Park Area (providing a truck to haul away tires). The organizer's web site, www.azvjc.org , estimates the cleanup will last 3 hours.

I will go out for a couple of hours. It is so close to me I'd almost be ashamed not to go out and help,again.
Dang, I could almost start my own annual cleanup after party, sponcered by SR.com;)(kidding)shhhhh!

The Roadrunner bar and cafe is also having their annual Chilli cookoff and jalopeno eating contest. I believe it all gets started around noonish. works out perfect! If you never been, they have a very nice outside patio. And, I am sure the game will be going on also. It is a good place to bring a crowd.

Com'on people, whats a few hours.:)
