hassayampa river riding

can you get to the hassayampa river by going out bell rd. past whitetank mtn.or do you have to go to 10 if you can how far is it.thanks..

There's a great staging area on the hassayampa river off State road in Morristown.
Take Grand Ave towards Wickenburg and when you come to Morristown it will be on your left. It will be before the old looking gas station (Which I think is being built into a bar)that sits on the right.
The river bottom is nice and wide in the area with cliffs on one side and across you can enter into the desert where you can find mine shafts and sand washes to ride. Real nice place.

Yes there are a few places off Sun Valley Pkwy (Bell rd) to access the riverbottom. I go out to the riverbottom & gravel pit area & stage near the CAP pump station.

Fooll, Tried out the area of the hassayampa off gates road today.
Your right, it is a good spot to stage.We played in the river bottom and also checked out Wolf Mine which was a neat ride to get to.
