Fossil Creek Road to Strawberry Sat 24th

Speeedr and myself are thinking of taking a run up the Fossil Creek road out of Camp Verde to Strawberry saturday. The stageing area is off Hwy 260 outside of Camp Verde. It will be a moderate ride with graded dirt road approx. 70 mile round trip.
It will be cold and hoping there will be some snow to play in.

My niece and her boyfriend are coming in from MI tomorrow. We were planning to do Queen Valley on Saturday, after a warm-up at Four Peaks tomorrow afternoon. We're not sure of Ryan's riding skills yet. He's got a quad, but it's illegal to ride it in the county he's in.

How 'moderate' is it???? Gotta be legal?

Just as legal as 4 peaks...
It's a simple ride with scenery on the 2nd half. I haven't rid'in the 1st half from Camp Verde yet.

How far is the staging area past camp verde? It is 95 miles to Camp Verde from here, just trying to see what time I have to leave in the morning. Having said that I will see all you fine peoples in the morning. :)

Well I'm glad I didn't listen to the weather person....
No rain ...... no wind.... and unfortunatly no snow.
It was a very good ride.The people that made were Me , Speeedr, Nort, Wayne and Kim. We made a stop next to Fossil Creek and grilled some Brats and Hot Dogs, Then made our way to the Old Strawberry school house.
