I'm positive I won't be able to go, but I'm going to post anyways. Has anyone ever ridden in salome or heard of Salome. Its about 40 miles west of Wickenburg. Now here there is a lot of good places to ride. Its like a desert course everywhere, just without so many rules. I've lived here for about 9 years and there is always trails that I havn't rode on. The best times for rides up here are the Chili Cook Off/Poker RUns. They are the best and are always a great ride.

Sound good Kyle. This sounds like a great place to add to the list!
Is this the Centennial Wash area? If so, one of the easy ways to get there from the valley is to drive out I-10 west, exit at Vicksburg Rd (Exit #45). Turn right onto Vicksburg Rd....Proceed north for about 5 miles until you reach Route 72 (the town of Hope) go east on Route 72 and that will take you to Salome. You can always take Grand Avenue/60 to Wickenburg, but it might be quicker going to Vicksburg Road.
Can you give a trail description? Dirt roads, 50", singletrack or wash?

There is a quicker way from Phoenix. Instead of going all the way down to Vicksburg Road, You can get off at Salome Road. Its only about 20 miles from there. Yes it is the Centennial Wash area. But the Centennial Wash isn't that fun of a place to ride. A trail description would be kind of hard to say. There isn't many single track only places, probably none at all, many dirt roads, washes, rocky areas, um pretty much anything you can think of. One person you could really get a trail description is desi (Flyn Frog) somethign like that. i will find out for sure and change it. But I don't know if you have ever heard of the old Salome 100 that was raced sometime in the 80's I think. But if you have then you might know the terrain. I don't know of any rules or regulations around here, I don't think there is problems with large groups of riding and stuff because there is never any complaint about the convoys of snowbirds that go atving.
