Someone E-mailed that to me. That is one huge cat, I wonder what the car that hit him looks like.
Biggest one I have seen was on the res. It crossed in front of my truck. As the front paw cleared the center line, the tail had not crossed the right side line. It still did not look that big though.
I've only seen one Mt. Lion in the wild even with all my years of hunting, camping, etc. It was when I was about 13 hunting in the Walapai Mountains (SW of Kingman). By the time I saw him he was a couple of hundred yards away and REALLY moving. We watched him (w/ binos) go up this ugly wicked mountain in a matter of seconds and disappear into the rocks.
I had no idea that these cats were this big! I wish I had the opportunity to see more of them in the wild. Maybe someday!

Man that cat is big...like leopard or jaguar big [:0]
No doubt about it, the cat could have a person for dinner without breaking a sweat. I'd also bet if it attacked you, you wouldn't hear him until he on top of you.
God dam id love to of got that one for my first lion[8D] That sucker is huge
I saw one almost that big cross Hwy93 right in front of me one night...near the Bagdad turnoff.

Was out there hunting fox a few weekends ago and came up empty handed. Called in 2 but they were way up on the hill side and only caught a glimpse of them. Closer to Bagdad, we saw a bunch of tracks and scratches from lions. On almost every stand we saw scratches. Surprised we didn't call them in..or we did and just didn't see them. They sure got the fox population under control around Bagdad for sure.

I saw that the other day. That is one big kitty. :D
It is a giant, if the photo is real. Kinda looks like the big brown bear photo that has floated around the internet for the last few years. I've never seen one in he wild, just my kind of luck.

WallyD, if you're referring to the brown bear in Alaska, according to Snopes the pictures are real.

I wondered about the polar bears and sled dogs, but that's supposedly true also.
