We need to find a place where the kids can ride by the truck and the adults can still ride trails. Without alot of sand because the 50cc dirt bikes aren't experienced yet. Anywhere on the west side?

Go out Carefree Highway (just west of I-17). Be selective where you stage. Someone had mentioned some nice flat stuff over near the soaring school. I know there is access on the south side of the road east of Lake Pleasant which I am almost sure is State Trust land, and looks to be flat, with no sand. Make sure that you have your State Trsut Land permit out there. By the way, Riding Arizona is having a weekend camp-n-ride out off of Carefree Highway at MM11.5 over Presidents Day Weekend. There is a NICE little flat, hard pack kids loop around our campsite...with no sand. Come on out!

There is a great place the next paved right after you pass Castle Hot Springs RD (Lake Pleasant West entrance) Sign says "Dead end 1 mile" Just after you turn North onto paved road you will begin to see some turnoffs on your right. Some are very large flat areas and almost never anyone else around. If you continure to pavement end there is parking & nice flat area with small hills (trashed by shooters) or you can enter Morgan City Wash & ride for miles in either direction.
Also Kids riding West on Bell Rd to West side of where White Tanks Mtn is nearest to road.
Not sure where you are on Westside but also Hasayampa riverbottom off I-10 just West of White Tanks.

The one off of miller-take 339th ave head north to dead end make a right.

I like the 99th and Carefree behind the White Bar. 107th and Jomax will be closed soon. 115th and Olive was just closed. I am going to try the White Tank Mountains this weekend. WHAT CAN WE DO AS RIDERS TO KEEP SOME OF THESE AREAS OPEN TO RIDING??? AS A NATIVE I KNOW OF ALOT OF AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND SOON WE WILL HAVE TO DRIVE THREE HOURS TO RIDE FOR A DAY!!!
