new hunter

I'm a hunter and a friend who never hunted in the us wants me to take him hunting.I want to start him off on rabbits so he can get a lot of shots in.I'm looking for a place close to phx for a day hunt.any suggestions?

Just about anywhere around the valley holds cottontails and jackrabbits. You might want to try up north off of I-17 in Bloody Basin. Not to far away and lots of wide open spaces.
