Will be heading to Ogilby Dunes the first weekend in March. Camping near the Radio tower hopefully!!

The first weekend in March will be the Ogilby clean-up, hope to see lots of you there. We will have drinks and lunch provided to for participants, good chance to meet lots of you too.

I had to change plans and I am camping at Gordons Well for the weekend. Hopefully we will run into each other.
I heard there has been a lot of rain down there today and there may be a problem with Olgiby Rd. Be careful.

Might be a problem getting in on Ogilby Rd? The actual paved Road or the dirt road? Is is washed out? or Flooded?? [B)]
When and where is this Ogilby Clean-up? What are the details?

I was speaking to some friends who live in Yuma that they saw on the local news that Olgiby Rd was flooded out and damaged. They didn't know how the road in was affected. I would assume that the road would be open by now.
As for the cleanup, this is the South Dunes 5th Annual clean up. There will be registration booths for people to sign up (the BLM records volunteer hours and it helps get more benifits for us) and you go pick up trash. As much or as little as you want! You return the bags to a designated collection point and recieve door prize tickets. The more bags of trash you turn in the more tickets you get. In the afternoon, there will be a drawing for the door prises at Pair - A - Dice. I have heard there will be some good prizes given away. (all the prizes were donated)
The Cleanup is being hosted by Pair - A - Dice and KD Cycle. DUNERS and Yuma Duners are handling registration. The ASA fully supports the cleanup and urges its members to participate.

Had a great time at Ogilby this weekend! Weather starting to get warm, but great time! Participated in the South Dunes Ogilby clean-up on Saturday with sandman's group.. I won a great Aluminum Banshee grill at the raffles at Pair-A-Dice. Great event! check it out next year!! [8D]
Wasnt able to get very many pics or video because i was riding fast with sandman's group!! :)
