Speedworld on Friday the 13th

Anyone else going to be out there? I thought I'd head out there about 10 and stay the majority of the day.

Let me know, I'd enjoy the company as my buddy won't be showing up until the afternoon.

I'll be in a white GMC crew cab with a white YFZ-450.

See you there Aristoman, we'll be pulling a trailer as the girls have decided they wanted to take their quads and we'll probably park back by the vintage track.

Jenkins, sorry I didn't make it to speedworld today. I was helping my dad this morning and didn't get home till almost 3pm. I'm new to this site and look forward to meeting some new riding friends. I am just getting back into riding after a 15 year break and always go to Speedworld by my self. Post a message anytime you want some company, I usualy go on Thurs or Fridays.

Aristoman, sorry to hear that, I looked for you but no find. Maybe next time, I think I'm going to go next Thursday for a pre-race run. Come on out, I'm 36 and only been riding quads for about a month and a half, so certainly not the fastest guy out there.[8)]

Howard, check out www.speedworldmxpark.com. Join us sometime, there 4 tracks, a Pee Wee, Vintage, Main, and a GP or something like that. Lot's of fun, my wife even enjoyed it today.

Zhvonte, maybe next week.:D Didn't find out if nerf bars were a requirement, I'll call this week.

Howard,

Good to hear from you. Speedworld is a race track about 10 miles northwest of Sun City off of Hwy 60. I think it there is a dirt track for two and four wheelers and a drag strip. I can't remember anything else out there.

Jenkins, I'll plan on next thurs. I'm 45, and use to ride 250 & open expert when I was in my teens, now I'm a lot slower (it hurts to fall down now). I mostly ride a YZ450 on the track but I always bring my raptor along. This is my 1st quad and I have only had it for 6 months.
I mainly got it to trail ride with my girlfriend, her quad won't keep up with my 450. If you do any trail riding on the weekends let me know. I live in peoria neer 91st & grand.

zhvonte, I'm south/east of grand & 91st. Let me know when you get your quad out of the shop. I usualy ride at speedworld Thurs or Fridays and off Bell Road on the weekends.
