Anyone know of 4x4 trails I could take my truck on that leads to some fairly decent fishing? Also I was going to start the sport of coyote hunting and was wondering if you guys could share some trails where you see coyotes regullary on. Thanks a bunch and Happy Trails.

This ought to be an interesting thread.
I see coyotes everywhere I go. I'm curious of your use of the word "sport" in regards to coyote hunting.

As far as fishing opportunities from 4-wheel drive trails, not a whole lot unless you want to travel to the 4 corners region and fish on the reservation. All of the "decent" fishing is generally pretty accessible by 2 wheel drive.

Now if you're not opposed to hiking into a good spot...lots of those around.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day, drinking.

ohhhh man theres this great place by roosevelt! take the back road of roosevelt to the back side of rooslvelt. its an ok trail not that radical. it is a good trail for chevy's and GMC Jimmys because this trail isnt that hard so your jimmy or chevy wont break down such as on a normal trail. anywase my father says that there was good fishing back there (about 5 years ago he said that). another spot that i go to alot is butcher jones. that place back there is packed w/ trails and some of those trails lead to the back side of suargo. the trails back there a little more radical, so a Jimmy or a chevy will break down. so i suggest a Jeep. i havent been back there fishing much but it looks ok. i suggest bringing a canoe or a float tube.

see ya on the trail

Why you ripping on Jimmy's? I assume from all of those stupid jeep remakrs you probally have one. Its probaly puke blue has some cheap body lift and something happens to it everytime you take it offroad. I bet if it went into a puddle with water barley past the wheels it would stall and get hydrolock. Then you will looking at my jimmy towing you home cause you cant get it to start. Just cause you Jeep sucks doesnt mean you have to take it out on me.

Relax man...he's just a kid. I'm sure he wasn't runnin' smack on your ride. He just thought he was being helpful I'm sure. Take 2 chill pills and check back in the morning.

Yeah I know Gorilla was just kidding I'm friends with him and he always makes fun of my Jimmy and I make fun of his Jeep. The jimmy isnt even mine its my parents, I'm looking for a Suzuki Samurai hopefully I'll find one and it will be my first car. If anyone has seen one for sale in their neighborhood or has a friend selling i would be very greatful if they would tell me the area they saw it or the phone number for it.
