Was there ever a ruling on the street bike section?
I'd like to take the Wickenburg ride up north but have no idea where to go - I assume the riders here have street bikes too.
Any takers?
I do plan to add a new section for dual-sports but not until after RA is upgraded. You're looking at 30-45 days.

Wickenburg is on the 60 heading west...what kinda ride you lookin' for? We go through there on the way to Prescott and Jrome all the time[8D]
We'd be interested in a ride up that way. Shannon - he's talking street, not dual sport. Don't think we can do any trails on the HD's:D

Oh Come on!!!
Don't start - you know I'll try and then Kipper will be all upset cuz my bike is dusty:D
Just take the 60 through Wickenburg and follow the signs, and all the other Harleys, on any weekend to Prescott. Stop at Whiskey Row (for a T Shirt from the Harley Shop of course). Watch out for the afternoon thunderstorms though.

Yeah thats the one! Lana, let me know, I've been trying to get people to roll on this trip for the last few weeks. And thanks Wally, I'm getting rain gear asap (just incase).
Ball Bearing - I'm "fairly" new to street bikes (HD) so just a good cruise up that way out of the heat and take in some of the views. I hear the trip can take you to 89A where there are some fun twisty's and great views?

You heard right. I can go Monday[8D]The last trip we did, we went up Yarnell, through Prescott, up and over to Jerome (ate lunch at HH), went into Sedona, through Oak Creek, Snowbowl, over to 64, back down to 40, stopped in Bellemont at the restaraunt next to Grand Canyon Harley for dinner (you cook your own steaks). Then we headed east to Lake Mary Road to 87, down the 260 to Camp Verde, and then the 17 back home. I live in north Phx. I put 530 miles on my Road King that day. Are you excited yet??

Excited and a little worried about my back side. I dont think I've done more than 60 miles in one trip yet. But theres no rule that you had to go straight through right? In order to go Monday I may have to be "sick" *cough cough* I'll let you know - I'd be interested if I dont make it this weekend.

Just call in a tell them you have the "bird flue". Our regular meeting place is at the Quik Trip on 83rd and Union Hills. I'll be leaving from there at 0800 Monday. Anyone interested, show up. I'm not going to do that long of a trip on Monday, but I am going up through Yarnell and Jerome. After that....maybe hit the DQ in Oak Creek.

I'm still trying to figure out how sick I can be Monday - my staff should be able to get by with out me for a day. I'm starting to feel ill as I type this! [xx(]

There's gas everywhere. My wifes Sportster and my Road king both have 5 gallon tanks
I thought the Road King had bigger. Looks like we're going to do a ride on Sunday. Kip can't take Monday off but it sure sounds like a fun ride.

I'll ride with anybody.
Lana, Kim and I are riding to Cave Creek on Sunday. I/she broke her toe, but she thinks she can ride...it's the second toe on her right foot. I'm riding my quad tomorrow
Cool deal Bob.
Maybe 1 day I can have a toy for all occasions.
Slowly working on it.

Sold it three weeks ago to a guy in Albuquerque thru Craigslist for $4500 plus $100 for delivering it to Payson. I just took the Payson/Mesa shuttle back.

Made the trip yesterday (despite the rain), boy was it a long day. Wick to Jerome to Sedona and back. Rained about 60% of the time. Thankfully I over prepare and had extra clothes etc. Finally got back into town around 5 and welcomed the 100+ heat to dry out.
Next trip - east side of the state. Any takes? Payson, Show Low, Strawberry-ish area? Never been out to the White Mtns either.

I would also like a small place for street bike talk - I just bought this 1986 Yamaha Radian to get to work and back, but might like to have an occasional fun ride. I don't think it will do well as dual-sport though [:p]

azgolfer is riding up there on Friday. I'd go but I took last Friday and Monday off. I rode Monday where you rode Sunday and had 5 minutes of rain near Wilhoit on the way back...hardly any traffic.[8D]

That was the other thing - when it was raining the cars were going like 5mph. Its not snow and ice! I wish I could Friday but I'm on call...so it will have to be Saturday after I'm done with On-Call or another Sunday ride.
