Safford dunes "GO FIGURE"

ITS ON NOW !!!! March 6 sat.
Hey Guy's and gals. We'll be doing a tad of drag racing this weekend at the safford dunes, I have never been there but have been challenged which means i must show!!!!:D

There will be a few fast bikes there hopfully they will have my big nitro bike injected in time.If not i will be handing out *BBB's with my 440. ill get more details later.(if anyones intrested)

Well here's directions as they were given to me.
Take 70 thru safford to solomon which is 7 miles past safford stay on 70 for another 3-4 miles until you come to haekel rd take haekel rd all the way to the hot well dunes which they say is 20-30 mins depending on your driving speeds.i will be in my yellow hummer with my black ex for sure.

I know of 3-420 long rods 1-totaly radical raptor 1-690 raptor 2- monster 440 hondas and hopefully 1-nitro pami 760 ds this makes for a fun day in my book.[8D]

I wish I could go this weekend. I live in safford And I would have liked to have met some people from RA. The wife and I are going to Mesa this weekend and out to tanque(safford dunes)from the 11th to the 13th. If anyone is going this particular weekend give me a shout and maybe we could hook up.

Are the Safford dunes very big, or high, or just flat???

Are they big enough to take a sandcar with paddles, or no???

I'm been to Glamis, just moved here from Florida, and I'd like to
do more dunes... Glamis is 5 hour drive vs Safford about 2-3...

Any comments about what the dunes are like there???

From what they tell me no the safford dunes are not sand car friendly they are rather small and rough they say i can't run my tripple buffs except at the hill.:( there is no better place then the imperial dunes:D

I have been pretty sick i did not make it any where just when i started feeling good i had to head to LA for work but im back home now.And hereshow it went.

1.Rodsmith broke his bike pretty bad in the whoops he broke a shock and it went right threw his carb and almost became a very serious accident BUT ALLS WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

2.Hargroves(bad483 to us) beat the bigest baddest fastest raptor in arizona on his 483 honda ex.

3.todd(speedDm) was laying waste to everything in sight with his 440 honda.

4.Bad483's honda was also taking out 420 longrods

Im going to try and make it out to (339th) the river around this sunday and do a tad of test and tune around 11am we run right under the freeway now.Its smoother

Its no glamis thats for sure, but a 1/2 hr. ride compared to 6 hrs. its worth the trip. We take the rail out there all the time, just leave the paddles at home. We take the paddles for the qauds, need all the help i can get racing up the hill. Next trip for us will be Easter weekend, anyone planning on coming up for this? Always good to meet some new people!!!!
