A few of us are making our annual trip from Iowa to Glamis in a couple of weeks and are planning on riding a couple of days in AZ. Last year we rode for a day at Rolls, but didn't camp. This year we thought about riding on the other side of the rode, Sycamore Creek I think it is called. Can someone give any advise on the best place to park and camp for a couple of nights. Does anyone prefer Rolls over S. Creek or visa versa? We are coming a long way and want to have an idea of where we are going before we get there. Thanks for any info you can provide. Chris

Camping[?]Sycamore[xx(]!
Not unless you like sleeping in a dirt bowl. Rude people riding till all hours of the night. Abnoxious, filthy, trash everywhere. School kids partying, screaming for their drunk friends pissing near your head as you are tring to sleep and they are to messed up to see your camp. At least thats how it was when we tried to camp there. I do hear the riding is all good! I would camp at the Rolls or Four peaks and take a day trip across the street to Sycamore.

Have fun and ride safe[8D]

Well, there you have it.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day, drinking.

Well I am one of those drunk party guys that are out there, but I usally stop riding once I can't stand up anymore (Around 12-1AM) just depends when I get there. However I do always wear my helmet! But yeah...Its more of a party places for youngins like myself than a place to camp with you family

We went there this past weekend and it was cleaned up. We camped also and there we not people riding everwhere all night long. There are so many places you can camp at. We will be going again and again until it gets too hot to go there.

Have quad. Will ride.

Thanks for the input. We are all still young (around 30) and like to have a couple of beverages at night, so think we will try Sycamore. We want to ride the area and only really planning on camping a Sunday night there...so we don't expect a ton of people pissing on our tents! It is 15 degrees here tonight, so we are ready to get to some warm weather and ride.
