That's cool if they can pull it off. I love new races.

My experience on new races with Whiplash in the past years is that Jay sometimes likes to jump the gun. If there is any possible way he can get someone to talk to him about a possible new location, he prints it. I have seen ALOT of new races on the schedule in cool new areas not happen, because for some reason or another something falls though.

I hate to be negative, but history always seems to repeat itself. I would love to race some place new. GO JAY!!!

The Beach race in Mexico (I've heard- I've never done it)is an old ADRA (Az Desert Racing Assoc.) race course. I hear it was pretty nasty. I hope that isn't true, because I just may make a run of the 2003 state championship after a 2 year hick-up in my racing career.

Rick, I hope you can do the full schedule next year. I plan on it but it will take some team work to pull it off, mainly the Mexico races. Phil # 777

A few other things I noticed about the 2003 Whiplash Race Schedule in Southwest Offroad News-

The new Hayfield Draw race is listed as a 200 mile race for bikes and ATVs. Gotta be a cut and paste error, since the car and truck race is also 200 miles. Can they race cars and trucks there?

Alto Pit is back again! WooHoo! I think ElGato and I may be the only two that like that race.

Snowflake is listed as a 150. I think it used to be 150 miles several years ago anyways. Hope it rains! It's doubtful the burnt woods section will be available to run in the next 5 years.

Vulture Mountain 150- 150 miles!!?? No way in hell!! (Read my Wickenburg ATV race article in Southwest Offroad News)

My knee is still hurting from the spill I took at Alto Pit:(. I think I could have been faster on a mini than my heavy XR at that race. I found it to be the second hardest of thr year next to the Cinders. The Cinders is'nt very bike freindly in my opinun. Phil # 777
