I know this is last minute but what the heck?

Tomorrow Saturday the 6th. starting from the parking lot at four peaks road at 11:00am. going across the highway to upper sycamore single track to join the "loop" trail to the cottonwoods to start the single track towards bartlett. then joining the "crosscut" (i think it is called) back down towards upper sycamore but turning east when it drops into the wash to cross highway 87 and then south to four peaks road and back to the parking lot... ok if you followed all of that... It should be fun and easier than going uphill on the crosscut part. My brother and I will be in either a white 81 chevy truck with a white shell or in a white 2003 Ford F250 extra-cab possibly with a large cab-over camper. Either way we will be towing a small white trailer just large enough for two CR500's. After all of this rain it ought to be a blast with little or no dust. maybe lots of mud though...

have a great weekend!

well, here are a couple of pics... the first one is of the three of us resting by the cottonwood tree... the second one is of my truck with the bikes in tow and four peaks with snow on top for the background.

we had lots of fun but we could not park at the four peaks parking lot, it was full. then we opted not to go down the pickaxe trail and took the easy way out this time. still a good ride and lots of traction out there.

i wish i could ride this Sunday but i have to work. maybe next time...:)
