I thought I would come up with a poll for this new section of RA.
What type of 4X4 do you own and drive? I only have 10 options.
I will add two more choices depending on what the members provide.

I can't vote twice. My main source of transportation is a 2004 F150 4x4 SuperCrew (gas) which is how I voted. However, I also have a 80 CJ5. I use the Ford for daily driver and my tow vehicle when I go "Riding Arizona".

I'm on my third chevy gasser. Though I miss the old ones with lighter suspension  That HD is no fun odd road.:doh:
I picked "other", because I have a GMC diesel 4x4 pickup. I didn't think it qualified as a Chevy. I also have a Jeep wrangler TJ, gas of course. My truck rarely goes off road, we've got other stuff for that.

I think they should be separate. Also, I think Chevy & GMC should be separated also...........There are some people that Like Chevy over GMC and Vice Versa....
Personally, I want a Chevy 4x4, but I DON'T want a GMC.;)

Beautiful F-250 V-10. Im so glad i dont own a Deisil any more.
Why? :)
If I got the fuel mileage that your V-10 gets ............................. :(
2008 Dodge Quad Cab. Bought the little bitty 1500 without the hemi. Bought the little bitty 4.7 liter with 310 hp and 345 torque. I only tow up to about 4,000 pounds and it's rated at 7100 lbs tow capacity. Amazed at the increase in power over my 1996 Dodge with the 5.9 liter. I think it had somewhere around 235 hp. I can also burn EB 85. (Flex Fuel model) Dodge is or was giving some pretty big discounts with the gas prices. With the Dodge discount, my work discount and my local dealer matching a Vegas dealers discount I picked it up for around 23 k. Now if I could only get it to pull like a diesel up the hills I would be super happy.......

Exactly..........
IF they were the same, then they wouldn't have 2 names now would they???
I want to see the Bowtie on the front/back, not gmc. Just a preference. Move on.
I have a Chevy/GMC suburban with the 496 motor that tows the toys and hauls the family.......
but the real 4x4 is my Toyota based 1943 CJ2a rockcrawler. its locked front and rear with 5:29's, dual transfer cases, 38" SX's, and will run upsidedown on propane

1999 F250 7 lug pulls the toys and the hard wheeling is in the 86 cj7.
RE: the Chevy/GMC thing, I'm on my second GMC truck. I ordered the first one from the factory in late 2001. It took awhile, but when it got delivered to the dealer it had GMC emblems on the front and Chevy emblems on the back half. Caused a big argument because the dealer wouldn't let me take it home that way and I had paid for the truck. They finally pulled the Chevy emblems and let me take it home without them. I have been in both, not much difference, except for a few luxury add ons that are on a GMC.
It pulls the trailer and hauls my stuff around, but doesn't go 4 wheeling much. I just bought a new Jeep Rubicon JK. Stock for now. Don't really rock crawl with it but it sure is fun.
I've always wanted a short bed Chevy 4x4 that I wouldn't be afraid to scratch or bend.
