Riding w/ Pokey Pals

Hey All! The weather is finally cooling off; finances are becoming more stable, so I'm ready to ride again. Since I managed a 3-month hiatus, I would like to ease back into it, so I'm hoping some of the pokey and/or family-oriented type riders are floating around here and don't mind me joining them.

My main issue remains I live in the middle of nowhere, and I really like riding Desert Wells and Box Canyon. I don't mind a bit of travel, though.

I'll keep checking the riding forum, but feel free to send a PM if you're planning anything!

We spoke earlier today about getting together. I spoke with my friend and she's definately coming out too! So see you this Sunday @ Box Canyon.
Give me a call on FRIDAY and I'll get you all the specifics.

Also I'm trying to organize the women....like we talked about earlier :grin:
As of right now it's just a girls night out, but hopefully we can get enough people together so that we can start talking about a more formal organization. Plan so far is to meet at GUEDOS TACO SHOP here in Chandler (71 E Chandler Blvd Chandler, AZ 85225 (480) 899-7841) on Friday 10/10 at 7pm. Make sure to tell all your girlfriends that ride, because I only know a few other female riders and I need some help with the word of mouth.

kdxchick asked me to post an update regarding the meeting on October 10...this group if for women who ride dirt bikes. Nothing personal against the quad riders but this group will focus on 2-wheels. :)

I'm going to a school-related conference 10/10-10/11; I can't believe I'm going to miss the first meeting! ARG. :(

naw....I totally understand- I'm sure the first few gatherings will be low #s. Keep in mind we'll move the location around so people from everywhere can attend. (Nov will be in the PHX area).

Let us know your ideas and what not. If you have any girlfriends that ride (2 not 4) make sure to let them know about the meeting :)

Thanks for the explanation, LD - this is a PG site, so watch yourself! LOL. Of course, the irony here is the smiley that allows you to pop the finger... You can't say what the finger means, but you can still do it... HA! :fu::fubar: <= and this smiley is called FUBAR (but we won't talk about what the "F" in FUBAR means, little Johnny...).
