Can you add "unsubscribe from thread" to the thread tools menu? Right now, only "subscribe to thread" is an option.

Thanks.

If you go to your Control Panel, all your subscribed threads are listed at the top,...you can unsubscribe there

This only shows the "new subscribed threads", not all of them. I can see all my subsribed threads and use the functionality to edit my subscription.

However, the feature I would like to see is an addition to the Thread Tools menu that is active while I am in a thread.

I am curious, what would be the purpose to unsubscribe to the threads?

That's a great question Chris!

Unsubscribing from the thread stops the email notifications.

When you reply to a thread, you are automatically subscribed (at least I have based on my profile settings).

Sometimes, I no longer want the notifications regarding specific messages. For example, I'm no longer interested in the "photo radar" thread, yet I receive a notification each time someone posts to it. I need to unsubscribe to eliminate this specific notification.

I do not get any notifications period.

I guess I have my profile settings different than yours.

Well that explains it! This is actually one of the features that I was very excited about getting with the new version of RA.

Under Control Panel, choose edit options for your profile. In the "Default Thread Notification", you are likely set to "no notification". I have mine set to "instant notification". There are other options like daily or weekly notification.

I love this feature! I just want to be able to more easily delete the subscriptions I no longer want.

Yep. ;)

I understand now. You just want to modify it a little bit. :out:

I believe it is all of them if you click the "Subscribed Threads" on the front of the main page.

Like posted, go to the Subscribed Threads link in the upper right hand corner. In there, click on View All. Check the box to the right of the thread you want to edit your subscription to and click the drop down in the lower right hand corner. In there you can change the subscriptions settings.

Also, don't forget to look and see if you have multiple pages of subscribed threads. If you have yours setup to auto subscribe to every thread you most likely will have several pages of threads on your list.
