:(Well I took the family out for our first camping trip with quads and bikes. Three days @ Rolls/Four Peaks area. Rich D you hit the nail on the head with, don't stay at camp cottonwood. Well family members arrived on Thursday and set of camp there. I arrived on Friday. They said it was great. Well I didn't say anything hoping maybe it would be ok. And I didn't want them to have to tear down camp. In all 11 of us, four families. What a night mare. Loud music, and I mean loud music and big mouth yelling folks until after 4:00 A.M. Saturday night more of the same, what a disappointment. Shoul of taken Rich D's advise. My own falt. Saturday night the wind was so strong it broke two fibreglass tent poles on our tent. The music still continued. Another sleepless night. Did do some riding, but we couldn't really find our way around very easy. Will try again another weekend. Not soon though too hot. Someone fill me in on somewhere else to go.[V]

Well since it's getting hot here,try CINDER HILLS OHV just north of flagstaff me and my family also have a good time there lots of riding trails ..

Autonoz, That SUCKS !!! Sorry to here you tried it down there and it was your first trip out. I rode down to cottonwood camp on Fri. night after I saw all these trucks and cars going down that way from 8pm til ... I couldn't imagine what was going on, til I saw it for myself. It's really a great place to ride, and a map makes it a breeze to get around and do some long loop riding and getting down to the lake. There's still some good weekends out there without the heat, this past week or so has just been above normal. RCIH

Sorry to hear about the lousy trip. If I'm going to camp I usually try to go far enough away where most of the morons wont bother going. I camped off of Table Mesa rd one night and ended up leaving due to some idiots shooting off semiautomatic rifles at night. Getting hit by a stray bullet does not sound like fun.
You might want to try Sunflower/Bushnell Tanks. Little farther up the road from Rolls. I haven't been there in years but was a nice place to go.
Husky 390. Because big guys need big bikes.
Bushnell Tank on the east side of the highway is no better...same crowd.
If you go west (left) at mile post 222.6 and down to the first cattle guard on your right, take that till you come to the Y and go left...there are several very nice camping spots with excellent riding opportunities.

there is also a little town called strawberry that is loads of fun to ride in. i went with some family friends and we had a blast! when we wernt on ATVs, we were in a few jeeps & cheves. it was an allaround fun time
