Went to the dunes for the first time and caught the fever, too bad I waited so long to go now I have to wait till it cools down! At least I will be able to save up some money to go again.. did anyone else go this last weekend?
We were at Olgilby Rd.....next to the tower.Man was it HOT!!!But it was a great weekend.

We were also in the Ogilby area and like Nate said it was damn hot!!! If the weather breaks for Easter we will make one more ride this season.:)

did you guys see the plane and copter around 6:00 Friday night.. they were looking for my wife!
What happened.....was she alone?Did see a big red chopper doing low levels scared the crap outa me I was sitting at the top of Patton when it came up behind me. out there dont know what day it was....we got out there Thursday and stayed till Sunday morning.

I did help a family get their sandrail turned around off a sand ridge who was camped over at the tower. I didn't see the choppers though.

I was at gecko rd itself over the weekend.... It was warm, but I didn't think it was that hot.... I still road for 6am til bout 11am, and then from noon til bout 4pm, fri and sat and sun....
I have no limitations, only my quad has limitations......

She got separated from the two girls she was riding with and decided to continue on her own down to the border just to say that she did. Ended up getting stuck, spent a couple hours trying to dig out, a couple sleeping, 6 hours overall (12:30 till 6:30) when the chopper picked her up. Quite a bit of excitement for our first times to the dunes.
Glad all worked out ok.Better to always sit tight when ya get seperated from your group.
