About two years ago a few friends and myself went out to the desert to clean up an area that is popular with target shooters. I'm into guns and like to target shoot on ocasion, so I went out to clean up a bit so I dont lose that privalage. I took out a couple of my work trucks and trailers including a bobcat I have so when we were done we had quite a bit of trash to get rid of. When we went to the dump and asked if there was a way we could dump it for free they said no, i figured they wouldn't this time since i didnt make any araingments.

I planned on doing this three or four times a year so i did some checking and everyone i spoke with about it told me they couldnt help me. I am wondering if anyone knows someone who can help with the dump fees. The dump fees for the time i did do the clean up were over a hundred dollars so i havent done a clean up since. If i could find a way to dump the stuff for free i would do this more often. You would think the city would let me dump that lind of stuff for free.

Is sounds like you got the commercial rate.

City of PHX lets you dump free on the weekends (residential) and for $20 otherwise. you also get one free residential dump per month with a City of PHX water bill. It helps if you cover the load, it seems to strike joy in the scale attendants.

They've actually asked if I was commercial once when I brought my 4x8 trailer full of yard clippings being towed by a Mercury Montego (Pretty much a Ford Taurus) - lol.
