Saturday
Meet at McD's, Chino Valley. Stage there. 9:00
We'll ride Perkinsville Rd to the Old Jerome Narrow Gauge, cut over to Martin Cyn, come out at Potato Patch CG at Hwy #89A, ride the pavement to Jerome, lunch at the <s>Haunted Hamburger</s> somewhere, come back via the Narrow Gauge.
Easy to very mildly moderate run other than some boulders through Martin Cyn which will require clearance and articulation.
Incredible views.

This sounds like it will be a great ride. What time is staging and about how many hours will it take?

Exit I-17 on Hwy #69, "Prescott"
Just past Dewey, right on Fain Rd (new extention, not on map)
West on Hwy #89A, "Prescott Valley" (rerouted, different than map)
Right on Hwy #89, "Chino Valley/Ashfork"
McD's is on the left, 3rd light on Hwy #89 in Chino

We're talkin' 2 dry (have been so far anyway) creek crossings with rocks 1.5 to 2 ft diameter. With decent clearance, it's just a matter of tire placement. We do it 2x.

Well, I've already rolled the Outy over and earned my newbe battle scars... *dogh* :D a couple boulders aint nothin... [8D] Couple more questions: is this a one tank ride(4 gallons) or will we need to bring fuel? (just donned on me that you could fill up in Jerome....go ahead and say it... newbe....)Other than a cooler full of goodies, camera etc any thing else we'll need to bring? Any problems riding 2 up with my 12yr old son? Thanks a bunch!

I am in the wife is out. The 500 is having some front end issues that Metro!@#$ing Motorsports can't figure out. God they are so incompetent. It is to bad my father in law did not know better when he boght his quad. He was suckered into that damn insurance so he is stuck taking it to them. I think he is going to try the one in Avondale.
