You wont need a green sticker as long as you have your Arizona License Plates on. That's what I've been told. I've gone to the dunes 6 times this past season and never had a problem.

I agree with QuadBoy. You do not need the green sticker. All that is needed is your AZ license plate and a copy of your registration for your bike, which matches the plate.

Could someone help me figure out what I have to have on the ATC to bring it into Ca? I have been researching and it's confusing with an older bike like mine.

I don't have any registration or a title. Just a bill of sale. Would registering it here in Mesa (at the ranger's station) be enough to bypass the national forest permit CA requires ($20 to get one)?

Does anyone know right off hand what the Border patrol upon entering CA looks for? I'm planning a trip to Glamis for the 18-20th of this month and have not been there since 1986.

I have all the accessories needed for sand riding. I just would hate to get to the border and be told I cannot bring the bike into CA because of an overlooked small detail (which is the most important sometimes). Thank you for any help.

I suggest calling the Burea of Land Management (BLM) in California for an official response.
