Is anyone thinking of running the Laughlin Hare Scrambles or the Tecate Hare Scrambles or the Hare and Hound in Lucerne?

Never met a CR500 I didn't like.

All I saw was a race for a couple of weeks ago. Is there one specifically coming up?

I have the September Knuckle buster race circled on my calendar. Fistfull went last year and after seeing the pics and hearing about the race, I'm going next year. Not sure of the exact date but I'm keeping my eyes open for it.

I will definately be at the Laughlin Hare Scrambles. That is my absolute favorite race. I have missed it the last two years due to injuries. I don't have any excuses this year. My usual Laughlin team mate moved to Alabama, but I can think of a few guys that would be suitable to team with.

I've heard good things about the Tecate race, maybe I'll try to make it if the financial gods are willing.

MARK!!!!

Glad you finally found us. You will fit in here perfectly. I am kinda in between bikes right now so I haven't been doing any riding at all so I will have to miss the 1st race of the season. I will be back on the trail in no time.

Good to hear from you and keep in touch.

As far as Laughlin goes I am going to have to sit it out this year. I just can't swing the $450 entry 3 weeks into the year.

David - My company bought me a 2003 ???? dirt bike for a bonus for being gone all dang year. I get it in the next few weeks. Don't know what it is but I suspect 450 CRF. Let's hook up and go to ET Motopark. I will trade you riding laps on the new ride for lessons & tips for clearing the triples, berm blasting & general Moto-X stuff. Spent a small $$$$ on the 600XR lately. We will drink one on the beach Saturday night for you. Tell Lori Hi - Thanks for turning me on to this web site - Saw Dayton last week @ ET - He does not even remember me putting him into the Air-Evac in Snowflake - Later Bro!

Mark,
I've worked countless hours of OT and all my company ever gave me was more work. Go figure, but it sure nice to be employed in this economy.

I will definately take you up on the offer to trade riding time on your NEW bike at ET for riding tips. All you have to do though is watch how I ride and do the opposite and you'll be fine.

Check this out. It is a thread in the RAcer Edge photo forum. I know how close you guys where.

and to stay on topic Me and Dayton are planning on racing the three race SCORE Baja series this year in the 250 Pro class. Possibly on a Titanium KX250 built by John Strong. Should be fun. Me and Dayton will do the San Felipe 250 together and add Todd Johnson for the 500 and Eric Brown for the 1000. We just need top find some one to pay the entries.

Dave,
Sounds like a full schedule for the new year. The SCORE folks seem to do some phenomenal races. Good luck this year. Maybe if you need a fill-in rider, I'll volunteer if you don't mind an old singletrack rider.

Never met a CR500 I didn't like.

Yo El-Gato, Just back from the "south side" of the Zone! Love watching the dolphins and gray whales while sipping margaritas @ the REEF. That part was much better than the race. Oh My Desert Bike God in Heaven - the course was ????????? mostly a QUAD TRACK DREAM. Sand ruts were mid engine deep and if you let off the throttle @ all it was like applying both brakes @ once. I went over the bars hard in race 1 and survived race 2 barely. I'm sure somebody liked it but my big 600 tank was an obstacle to pass most of the time. Anyway the toatadas @ JJ's are still good and the shrimp cocktails @ La Cuerva are to DIE for! Maybe the thought of good Mexican food @ Baja will inspire me to go help pit for you guys @ the BIG races. I need a magarita machine and constant source of salsa with goat cheese & I'm there Bro. New bike coming from Oregon this week. I will stay in touch - serious about Moto-X lessons. John & I are going to Supercross next week, anybody going? NEW TOPIC - Hey Phil - It was nice meeting & talking with you @ Playa Bonita. E me @ Racerfisk@aol,com & we will hook up for some FUN rides @ less than 100mph.
